[...] Hiked Mt Erie with Mark. Mt. Erie is right outside of Anacortes, Wa. It’s not far, but it is fairly steep. We have cycled up this on our mountain bikes in the past - not easy. I easily got my heart rate into zone 4 for me. It’s about 1,000 feet up, and has a great view of both the Cascade mountains to the east and the Olympic mountains to the west. One of the things inbetween happens to be the Puget Sound. Mark and I have cycled all around these valleys and surrounding hills. It’s some of our favorite places to ride. [...]
